Cohen Family, Ellington Farmers for 99 Years

The Cohen family has been farming in Ellington for 99 years. I recently had the pleasure of meeting and talking with Sanford (Sandy) Cohen about the history of the Cohen family and farm. I was amazed at the details that Sandy could remember; names and dates came easily to him as he told his family’s story. The Cohen story only brushes the surface of the rich and intriguing history of Jewish farming in Ellington.
