A Look at Jobs Hill Provisions Co.

Who are they?

Though Jobs Hill Provisions Co. is relatively new to the Ellington Farmers Market, they have already made quite the impact on the customers with their jars of salsa, sauces, and jams. Located in Ellington on Jobs Hill Road, Jeff and Christine Stigliano started Jobs Hill Provisions Co. in 2016 when Jeff thought it would be a great idea to start selling the homemade marinara sauce Christine made from their homegrown tomatoes. From there they expanded their products to salsas, pickles, and jams all made from fruits and vegetables grown in their yard.

What do they sell?

Jobs Hill Provisions Co. is constantly adding to their product line and each season customers can look forward to new selections based on what did well that season. Christine’s marinara sauce (The product that started it all!) is, of course, a best-seller along with the roasted tomato salsa, and pickles; however, their most sought-after product is definitely their chocolate-raspberry jam. You might even have to fight off some local pastry chefs who come to the market just for that product! Last year Jobs Hill Provisions Co. also started selling a spicy fra diavolo sauce and a variety of different relishes and pickled vegetables.

Why Job’s Hill Provisions Co?

Jeff Stigliano fondly calls Jobs Hill Provisions Co his “hobby on steroids!” Though he and his wife work fulltime jobs, they are passionate about the growing of their vegetables and creating a wide selection of homemade jarred products for the Ellington community. Jobs Hill Provisions Co. is a completely family run, in-home company. There are no co-packers or outside employees involved: all vegetables are grown in the Stigliano’s backyard and all products are made in their kitchen. Their selection of sauces, jams, pickles, and salsas is incredibly diverse, and constantly changing depending on that year’s crop. When purchasing a Jobs Hill Provisions Co product, you can be sure that you’re getting a unique product made by people who love what they do.
